“Lord, so much of my worry stems from a proud belief that I may know better than YOU what needs to happen, Teach me to cast my burdens on you, leaving them to your power and wisdom. Amen.”
Tim Keller ~ The Songs of Jesus
“God knows what He is doing. This comes as a clear indication from Headquarters. And I take it from Him. God knows what He’s up to. And I’ve had enough experiences of His goodness in all sorts of ways not to have my doubt about the present circumstances. Some good− something for His glory, is going to come out of it.”

“Grace is the gift of feeling sure that our future
−even our dying−
is going to turn out more splendidly
than we dare imagine!”

Dear Reader,
Every one of us has a story to tell in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic. The Brunstings are no exception. On March 14th, 2020, we hunkered down compliantly and creatively right along with the rest of you. We struggled to find toilet paper and eggs while altering our lifestyle. We fully embraced the socialization opportunities of ZOOM and desperately missed our family! At no time, however, did we imagine all that was to transpire in the days ahead.
Within a matter of one week, our nuclear family of four—distanced from each other by 2000 miles and quarantine edicts—faced a dance with COVID 19 that none of us would have signed up for. As Mom and Dad prayed urgently for the watch care of God over all, one of our daughters endured the battle within and the other, from without. Our ongoing story begins with our March 11th blog and will continue as we discover all that God has destined for us in these unprecedented days.
